in Live,News

The Dead Daisies, the Australian supergroup featuring members of Guns N Roses, Thin Lizzy and Noiseworks, will take the show into Australian pub and clubs in February and March.

Jon Stevens of Noiseworks and David Lowy of Red Phoenix and Mink founded the Dead Daisies in Sydney. Richard Fortus of Guns N Roses joined the band and more recently Dizzy Reed of Gunners was also added to the line-up.

The Dead Daisies has a rotating line-up depending on availability. Rolling Stones bass player Darryl Jones played while Marco Mendoza of Thin Lizzy was cranking up his new band Black Star Riders. Mendoza is back with The Dead Daisies. Completing the 2014 line-up is drummer John Tempest of The Cult.

In 2013, The Dead Daisies toured Australia with Aerosmith, the USA with Jane’s Addiction and Alice In Chains and the UK with Black Star Riders.

The 2014 dates will coincide with the release of The Dead Daisies debut self-titled album.
