Sydney’s Dead In A Second and Melbourne’s Jericco have teamed for dates under the banner Swarm Fest.
Swarm Fest will take Dead In A Second and Jerrico to Adelaide and Newcastle as well as Sydney and Melbourne with a couple of yet-to-be announced showcase gigs in Sydney and Canberra still to be added to the tour.
Dead In A Second were a recent signing to Philip Israel’s Possum Records. The band’s EP ‘The Double Treblio will be released on March 14 for the tour. The EP was to be released in 2013 but placed on hold after the death of Chrissy Amphlett for Dead In A Second to release their Chrissy tribute ‘Girls In Town’ instead. All proceeds of the sales of ‘Girls In Town’ were donated to MS and Breast Cancer research.
It comes two years after Dead In A Second debuted at #3 on the iTunes chart with their indie record Maretimo in June 2012.
