Dead Kennedys, with original members East Bay Ray and Klaus Flouride, will return to Australia in September.
The San Francisco punk band formed in 1978 and scored a Gold selling debut in ‘Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables’ in 1980. The album reached no. 33 in the UK off the back of the now punk classic ‘Holiday In Cambodia’.
By 1986 after legal issues, obscenity charges, royalty issues and internal unrest, the band played its last gig on February 21, 1986 and broke-up.
This current line-up of the band has been active since 2010 and toured Australia last in 2011.
