Death From Above have a bizarre new video for their song ‘Freeze Me’ directed by Corey Adams.
Canadian Adams has worked on the telemovies ‘Atlas Electric’ and ‘Harvey Spannos’ as well as advertisements for Pepsi and Marc Jacobs. A music video for a rock band is something new for him.
Death From Above vocalist/drummer Sebastien Grainger explains: “When Corey Adams started talking to us about making this video he said he wanted it to be about how body builders would spend their last day on earth before the nuclear apocalypse. He also mentioned there would be a guy dressed as Rambo playing a machine gun like an electric guitar and a lady body builder pumping iron under water. He had us at hello.”
Death From Above formed in Ontario, Canada in 2001. Their debut album ‘You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine’ was released in 2004. In 2006 they broke up but reformed in 2011 when a second record ‘The Physical World’ went into production and was released in 2014.
In 2006 Brazil’s CSS released a song called ‘Let’s Make Love and Listen To Death From Above’.
