One of the tracks on Blondie’s May album Pollinator is the politically charged “Doom or Destiny”.
While the song, which features Debbie Harry and guest Joan Jett, addresses some real-life issues, the video, directed by Rob Roth, throws in many tongue-in-cheek visuals including thermonuclear war in the five day forecast and a headline reading “Man From Mars Through With Cars and Bars”, a reference to the Blondie song “Rapture”.
