Def Leppard and Live To Tour Australia

by Paul Cashmere on May 25, 2015

in Live,News

Def Leppard and Live (minus Ed Kowalczyk) will team up for a return to Australia for shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in November.

Live lead singer and songwriter Ed Kowalczyk left the band in 2009 and new singer Chris Shinn joined in 2012, after a few years of dragging the heritage of the band between the courts. Kowalczyk was alleged to have left the band after demands for a $100,000 lead singer bonus at concerts was not greeted with the approval he had hoped for.

Kowalczyk now performs as a solo artists and claims the spirit of Live is with his show.

The Sydney and Perth shows will also include a guest appearance from Baby Animals while Electric Mary will open for Melbourne.

Def Leppard and Live dates

November 17, Sydney, Sydney Entertainment Centre
November 18, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
November 21, Perth, Red Hill Amphitheatre

Tickets for all shows will go on sale on June 11, 2015.
