Deni Blues and Roots Festival has had a big increase in numbers this year following the launch of the new music festival in Deniliquin, New South Wales in 2013.
Attendance figures increased substantially this year as music fans in Melbourne and Adelaide discovered the proximity of the two-day music festival to the major cities and the wealth of global music talent condensed into the weekend event.
Saturday saw performances from John Mayer, Dr John, Michael Franti, Elvis Costello, Australian music legend Russell Morris and surprise newcomer Harry Hookey. Today’s event has The Doobie Brothers, Boz Scaggs, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Steve Earle, The Wailers and Gary Clarke Jr.
