Depeche Mode have hit the U.S. shores with an opening salvo at the DTE Energy Music Theatre outside of Detroit, MI.
While the most songs (5) naturally came from their latest album, Delta Machine, they also played four from 1990’s Violator and three from 1986’s Black Celebration and 1993’s Songs of Faith and Devotion, their only number 1 album in the U.S.
Major U.S. albums that weren’t touched during the set are 2009’s Sounds of the Universe and 2001’s Exciter.
