Depeche Mode will release their first new album in three years, Spirit, sometime in early spring 2017 and will announced tour dates for next summer in Europe (North and South America will be announced later).
The announcement was made on Wednesday during a press conference from Milan (they don’t hit the stage until around the 11:30 mark).
This will be the band’s fourteenth studio album and the first since 2013’s Delta Machine. The album debuted at 2 on the U.K. and 6 on the U.S. Album charts.
James Ford is their new producer and they have been working on the album for two years. No other information is available.
