70’s American punk band The Descendents will kick off their Australian tour tomorrow (February 6, 2013).

The Descendents formed in Manhattan Beach in 1978. Bill Stevenson is a founding of the band. Milo Aukerman joined in 1980.

The band broke up in 1983, but reformed a year later for another 5 years. They also reformed for two years in 1995, 2002 and have been playing again since 2010.

Descendents released six albums, the most recent being ‘Cool To Be You’ in 2004.

Descendents will tour Australia with Bouncing Souls, Frenzal Rhomb and Bodyjar.

February 7, Sydney, Luna Park Big Top
February 9, Melbourne, Festival Hall
February 10, Perth, Metro City
