US metallers DevilDriver have had to cancel their May Australian tour with Darkest Hour and Six Feet Under.
Frontman for the band, Dez Fafara, said in a statement that a bout with pneumonia will prevent him from flying and he won’t be able to make it for their tour, which was to kick off this week.
Fafara said in a statement, “I’ve NEVER cancelled a tour before. EVER… I have Pneumonia and I’m restricted from flying for at least 2 weeks. So unfortunately we have to cancel our Australian tour.”
“I respectfully apologize to all our Australian fans, Six Feet Under; Darkest Hour and the folks at SW touring who worked so hard to put this tour together. Thank you for your support. We’ll make it up to you on the next tour”.
Ticket holders can get a refund at their point of purchase.
