Devo Calls Bullshit on Desert Daze Festival Farewell Tour Branding

by Paul Cashmere on August 8, 2019

in News

Jerry Casale of Devo says the “Farewell Tour” branding for Devo on the Desert Daze Festival announcement this week is complete bullshit. Devo are not breaking up.

Desert Daze announced their line-up this week with Devo listed as doing a “Farewell Tour”. Casale sent a statement to Rolling Stone saying, “ If we were going to do a Beginning Was The End tour it would be Devo choosing when and where to make the announcement”.

Devo have been off the road since 2014 but did a few shows in 2018 for charity. They last toured Australia in 2012.
