George Harrison’s son Dhani has a new album with his band thenewno2 plus guest spots from RZA, Ben Harper and more.
They’ve obviously big fans of the lower case and nemeses of spaces, as their new album is titled thefearofmissingout.
The band consists of Harrison, Paul Hicks, Jonathan Sadoff, Jeremy Faccone, Nick Fyffe and Frank Zummo, who started making music back in 2006.
Harrison put together the debut You Are Here in 2009 under the name, but thefearofmissingout is the first one written and recorded with the full band.
They promise a mix of “trip-hop, blues, dub, reggae, and electronica sounds” featuring guest spots from RZA, Ben Harper, The Black Knights, Throunn Antonia (of Fields and Beck’s Record Club) and Holly Marilyn (of The Child).
