Legendary songwriter Diane Warren will be awarded International Music Person of the Year at Musexpo 2014 in Los Angeles next April.
Diane Warren is the songwriter behind the stars. She wrote ‘I Was Here’ for Beyonce, ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ for Aerosmith, ‘Because You Loved Me’ for Celine Dion and more recently ‘Get Used To Me’ by Australia’s Jessica Mauboy for The Sapphires movies.
2014 will also mark the 10th anniversary of Musexpo. “Every year, our entire team sets a new industry standard to ensure we continue to make each Musexpo better than the last,” states Sat Bisla, founder, A&R Worldwide, MUSEXPO. “We are determined to make 2014 our best Musexpo ever.
Musexpo has become one of the world’s most popular places for artists to showcase for the industry. Artists who have appeared at Musexpo since its inception back in 2005 that have gone on to international success include: Katy Perry, LMFAO, Jessie J, The Temper Trap, Frank Turner, Robyn, Laura Izibor, Dead Letter Circus, A Fine Frenzy, Ida Maria, Teddybears, Churchill, Missy Higgins, Midnight Youth, Erik Hassle and many others.
Musexpo 2014 will be held at at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood between April 6 to 9.
