Walking With Dinosaurs have replaced rock and roll dinosaurs AC/DC as the top grossing entertainment act of the past 12 months.

Global Creatures, the producers of Walking With Dinosaurs, grossed $62 million for the large as life dinosaur show displacing last year’s highest grossing act AC/DC.

AC/DC dropped to a pissy income of only $9 million compared to the $131 million they made last year but this year has been a year-off. (Not bad for doing nothing).

The top 5 will show:

Global Creatures ($62m)
The Wiggles ($28.3m)
Naomi Watts ($19.1m)
Frontier Touring (Michael Gudinski) $19m
Nicole Kidman ($18.6m)

Promoters Michael Coppel, Michael Chugg and Paul Dainty have also made the Top 10 while Future Entertainment, Secret Sounds and Fuzzy are new to the Top 50.

BRW will publish the Top 10 tomorrow (December 15).
