Django Django have announced a new December tour which will see the band visit Derry, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham.
Django Django’s second album Born Under Saturn was released last week and was met with unanimous rave reviews. Sunday Times Culture made it their Album of the Month, whilst The Times newspaper called it ‘glorious’ giving 4*s. Shortlist said the band are ‘made for festival tents’ ‘ fortunately, the band will play a string of festivals across the summer, including a headline slot on the Festival Republic stage at Reading & Leeds, whilst appearing second to top of the bill at Field Day in London. They will also play End of the Road festival and Larmer Tree Gardens.
Django Django last week unveiled the video for most recent single, ‘Reflections’. Filmed at Framestore film studios, famed for CGI blockbuster Gravity, director Natalia Stuyk describes her work as ‘a futuristic and surreal take on the traditional performance music video in which the band are transformed into other-worldly digital sculptures whilst performing their synth-laden track.
