The family of Doc Neeson are planning a public memorial service for the late Angels singer for later this year.
Doc was farewelled at a private funeral for close family and friends in Sydney on Wednesday. This final resting place is being kept secret at this stage.
According to Doc’s official Facebook page, “there are plans to have a monument possibly in the way of a statue later on that fans could visit. There are also plans to hold a public memorial event in a couple of months but this will take some time to arrange.”
The 67-year old co-founder of The Angels died on June 4 after a 17 month battle with brain cancer.
