Jimmy Barnes will sit the next few weeks resting on doctors orders following his recent back surgery.

Jimmy has hospitalised and underwent surgery two weeks ago as news was breaking that his ’30:30 Hindsight’ album had just debuted across Australia/

’30:30 Hindsight’ is a celebration of Jimmy’s 30 years as a solo artist. It features his classic songs re-recorded as duets with his family and friends.

In a statement Jimmy said, “30 years of back breaking work broke my back! But seriously I’m incredibly grateful for the many messages I’ve received from fans and also the fantastic media support but I hate missing live shows more than anything and the doctors have told me very clearly that I need to rest before the start of the tour in two weeks’ time so that is my focus”.

The 30:30 Hindsight tour begins on Wednesday 1 October in Nowra, New South Wales and continues for the remainder of the year. Check all dates here.
