The ACM Awards, which were held last night, included 23 performances from mostly modern artists although Tim McGraw was on-hand to sing Humble and Kind, Keith Urban gave us Wasted Time and Kenny Chesney did Noise but one of the highlights of the night came from a duo by a country icon and one of modern day’s biggest singers.
Dolly Parton took the stage with Katy Perry to sing a medley of three Parton hits, Coat of Many Colors, Jolene and 9-to-5 and, even though Perry’s singing paled a bit in comparison to Parton, she still held her own on stage for a full five minutes.
