While Dolly Parton has appeared relatively often in the U.S. and Canada, she has not done a full out tour in twenty-five years.
Parton is hitting the road with her “Pure and Simple With Dolly’s Biggest Hits” tour. According to the singer, she will be appearing in around sixty different cities but the full itinerary has not been confirmed.
For now, we have sixteen shows:

06/11 – Cincinnati, OH – The Shoe At Horseshoe Cincinnati
06/12 – Lewiston, NY – Artpark Amphitheater
06/17 – Lenox, MA – Koussevitzky Music Shed
06/18 – Bangor, ME – Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion
06/25 – Queens, NY – Forest Hills Stadium
06/28 – Pittsburgh, PA – Consol Energy Center
08/02 – Columbus, OH – Celeste Center (Ohio State Fair)
08/07 – Highland Park, IL – Ravinia Festival At Ravinia Park
09/30 – Laughlin, NV – Laughlin Event Center
10/01 – Hollywood, CA – Hollywood Bowl
11/15 – Pigeon Forge, TN – LeConte Center At Pigeon Forge
Parton recently told Rolling Stone “The tour itself is called Pure & Simple, mainly because it’s kind of scaled down but there’s only four of us on stage, we play different instruments and we all sing and we do all those songs that people know, but they’re just not as big and we don’t have a lot of effects on stage and any of that. We did some shows at the Ryman and at Dollywood with that particular show all scaled down and people loved it. I got the best reviews I ever got.”
