Donald Fagen Cancels Last Four Shows Due To Illness

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on September 14, 2017

in News

Donald Fagen has cancelled the rest of his tour with his new band, the Nightflyers, due to illness.

Out are tonight’s (September 12) show in Portland plus Seattle (September 13), Saratoga, CA (September 15) and San Francisco (September 16).

Fagen and the band’s next scheduled dates are from September 20 to 24 in Japan. He then has Steely Dan shows from October 13 to 30.

There is no indication of the illness that has hit Fagen, although it is completely understandable due to the death of his Steely Dan partner of 45 years, Walter Becker, who died on September 3.
