Angus Stone’s Dope Lemon has sell-out shows in Sydney and Brisbane as well as Auckland after the number two debut of ‘Smooth Big Cat’ on the weekend.

‘Smooth Big Cat’ sales were driven by vinyl with over 1500 of the 2500 sales bought as vinyl copies.

Dope Lemon’s ‘Smooth Big Cat’ was the number one vinyl record in Australia last week, outselling Ed Sheeran’s latest ‘No 6 Collaboration Project’ by 5 to 1.

Angus Stone began recording under the name Dope Lemon in 2016. That first album ‘Honey Bones’ peaked at no 11 on the ARIA Chart with ‘Smooth Big Cat’ coming in at no 2 in Australia and also charting at no 44 in Germany.
