Dr John Added To The Last Waltz Tour

The Last Waltz 40 Tour will go on with Dr John.

The tour, which features Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, Don Was, Terence Higgins and Cyril Neville, among others, has added Dr. John for this leg. Special guests are also promised which, during the first leg of the tour, included artists like Joan Osbourne and original band member Garth Hudson.

Not on the tour from the earlier portion are Michael McDonald and John Medeski.

The Last Waltz 40 celebrates the music of the Band and, specifically, the legendary final show from 1976.

The Last Waltz 40 Tour, created by Keith Wortman and led by Grammy Award-winning guitar legend and vocalist Warren Haynes and Grammy Award-winning producer/musician Don Was, has been met with critical praise and warm reception from audiences across the country who have been thrilled night after night by the amazing music of The Band showcased in a unique light.

04/14 – Valley Center, CA – Harrah’s Resort Southern California
04/15 – San Francisco, CA – The Masonic
