UK metal wildmen DragonForce have revealed details of album number five, the first with their new singer.

Those unfamiliar with DragonForce should prepare themselves for melodic metal fireworks, like playing three Iron Maiden albums at once at double speed.
The London-based band have a new singer in Marc Hudson and guitarist Herman Li says over the last two year “we have built this incredible energy and it has been fully captured on the new album.”
He says they “really brought their metal side to the surface” (really?) and that it will be the most diverse DragonForce album yet, “From the fastest song we’ve ever recorded to the slower songs, and some things you would never expect from us”.
The album is titled The Power Within, features ten tracks (the final one an acoustic version of track six ‘Seasons’) and will be released on April 13 on 3Wise Records through Sony.
