Celtic punk is not a genre that you see often toward the top of the charts, but it is this week as the Dropkick Murphys put their new 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory at number 8.

For the group, this is their third straight top ten and fourth top twenty album in a row in the U.S. with The Meanest of Times (2007 / #20), Going Out in Style (2011 / #6) and Signed and Sealed in Blood (2013 / #9).

The album is also having an impressive run on other charts, sitting at the top of the Independent, Tastemaker, Rock and Alternative Album tallies.

The US top ten albums:
1. Starboy – The Weeknd
2. La La Land – Soundtrack
3. Moana – Soundtrack
4. 24K Magic – Bruno Mars
5. 4 Your Eyez Only – J.Cole
6. Hamilton – Original Cast
7. Views – Drake
8. 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory – Dropkick Murphys
9. Stoney – Post Malone
10. Traveler – Chris Stapleton
