Jeff Duff, Steve Balbi and Brydon Stace will get back together for ‘Ziggy The Songs of David Bowie’ in June.
Duff first produced the Bowie tribute show in Sydney in 2010. The Duff and Bowie friendship developed when David was living at Elizabeth Bay in Sydney in the 80s. Duff was a neighbour. Bowie would often head to Round Midnite in Kings Cross to watch Jeff Duff perform.
“Following the shock passing of our inspirational leader; the Ziggy gang are keener than ever to help keep Bowie’s musical legacy alive. The Ziggy show has vowed to carry the thin white duke’s music into the future… and beyond. Along with Steve and Brydon, I’ll be performing Bowie’s songs with more emotion, more passion and more ‘Bowie-love’ than ever before. We are all very sad – so paying homage to the great man is the only cure – and I know that’s what Bowie would want,” Jeff Duff said.
“We are excited, re-ignited and ready to blow audiences away with Bowie’s incomparable songs.
“Let’s all come together and celebrate the life, the music, and the artistic genius of the man we call Ziggy.”
Tickets for all shows go on sale at 9.00am on Monday 8th February.
