Dweezil Brings Zappa Plays Zappa Back To Australia

Dweezil Zappa is set to bring his father Frank’s insane rock operas to stages around Australia.

In 2006, Dweezil began honouring his father with the Zappa Plays Zappa concerts.

As he mastered more of Frank’s mind-bending music, each concert has become a more complete tribute to a true eccentric genius of modern music.

Last year he performed an extra special show, running through the entire Apostrophe to celebrate what would’ve been Frank’s 70^th birthday. So who knows what surprises are in store for this 2012 Australian tour.

Tickets to Zappa Plays Zappa go on sale from 9am next Monday 19 December from Ticketmaster for Melbourne, Ticketek and the venue in Sydney, and the Panthers website for Newcastle.
