Dynamic Hepnotics have reformed for Pure Gold Live and ahead of that the back-catalogue will be released in September.
As part of the catalogue reissue, a treat for fans will be the first ever Dynamic Hepnotics best of ‘Hepnobest’ featuring the band’s two hits ‘Soul Kind of Feeling’ (no 5, 1984)and ‘Gotta Be Wrong’ (no 20, 1984).

Dynamic Hepnotics were around from 1979 to 1986. Robert Susz formed the original band Arthurs Bar in Potts Potts, Sydney. WSFM’s Jonathan Coleman was an early member of the line-up.
The first Dynamic Hepnotics EP was ‘Strange Land’, produced by Daddy Cool/Mondo Rock’s Ross Wilson, was independently released in 1982.
There was only one studio album ‘Take You Higher’ released in 1985 after the live album ‘The Dynamic Hepnotics Live’ in 1984. ‘Take You Higher’ had the two top 40 hits.
Dynamic Hepnotics reformed for the Mushroom 25 Live concert at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in 1998. The Pure Gold Live shows will be the first Dynamic Hepnotics shows in 18 years.
