The Sevens Stadium in Dubai became the Hotel California for one-night only last night when the Eagles played their first ever show in the Middle East.
The show marks a series of firsts for the Eagles who played their first show in China in 2011 and just recently also played their first shows ever in South Africa.
Eagles have just had a South African run with shows in Capetown on April 4, Sun City on April 7 and Johannesburg on April 8.
They will next perform in Las Vegas on April 21, followed by two shows in Alpharetta, GA on May 2 and 4 and then headline the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 5.
Meanwhile, fans can prepare for solo albums from the band members. Glenn Frey has just released ‘After Hours’, his first solo album in 20 years. In June Joe Walsh will release ‘Analog Man’, also his first solo album in 20 years and Don Henley is working on a country album of duets.
The last Timothy B. Schmit album was ‘Expando’ in 2009.
