Eagles will bring their ‘History of the Eagles’ tour to Australia and New Zealand in February 2015 with original member Bernie Leadon back in the band.
Leadon was an Eagle for the first four albums. He left after ‘One Of These Nights’ in 1975 and was replaced by Joe Walsh.
Bernie Leadon co-wrote the Eagles classic ‘Witchy Woman’ and sang lead vocals on ‘Train Leaves Here This Morning’ which is part of the current setlist.
‘History of the Eagles’ covers the Eagles catalogue through to ‘Hell Freezes Over’. To date the tour has not included anything from the last studio album ‘Long Road Out Of Eden’ (2007).
The setlist features three songs ‘Saturday Night’, ‘Train Leaves Here This Morning’ and ‘Doolin’ Dalton’ not played by the band for over 30 years before this tour.
Eagles features Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit with Leadon back in the band.
