Ed Sheeran will follow-up his platinum ‘+’ album with ‘x’ in June.
Sheeran confirmed the title via his Twitter feed over the weekend. “My 2nd album is called ‘x’ or ‘multiply’ and will released on the 23rd of June worldwide. Can’t wait for you guys to hear it,” he posted.

The title is no surprise to Noise11 followers as Ed confirmed in an interview with Noise11 in May, 2013 that the title would be another symbol and mumbled a “yeah” when we guessed it might be called ‘multiply’.
Ed Sheeran: “My second about has kind of taken shape recently.”
Noise11: Do you have a title yet?
Ed Sheeran: Yes. I was just about to say it but I shouldn’t say it. There should be some sort of reveal at some point.
Noise11: Give us a hint. Just the letter it starts with.
Ed Sheeran: It doesn’t start with a letter.
Noise11: I hope its not minus. Probably multiply.
Ed Sheeran: (mumbling) Yeah
