Ed Sheeran, Paul McCartney, Amand Van Helden and Midnight Oil are just some of the artists nominated for Helpmann Awards for 2018.
The Helpmann Awards are Australia’s prestigious live performance awards. Nominees in 42 categories were announced at events across Australia on Monday night (18 June 2018) with the winners to be named over two nights 15 and 16 July in Sydney.
For the first time the Helpmann Awards will feature Act 1 on 15 July at the Sydney Town Hall to celebrate the very best creative, designer and supporting roles.
On 16 July a Black Tie event will celebrate all live performance genres along with the 2017 Centenary JC Williamson and Sue Nattrass Awards.
