Eddie Money Sold 3,000 Albums Following His Death

Eddie Money albums sold 3,000 copies in the three days following news of his passing on 13 September.

Eddie Money sales were up 11,273% following the news. The best seller was ‘The Best of Eddie Money’ followed by ‘The Essential Eddie Money’ and ‘Greatest Hits’.

‘The Best of Eddie Money’ sold 1,565 of the 3,000 sales, about half.

Prior to the news of Eddie’s passing the singer had registered 5,600 albums sales to date in 2019.

The most downloaded song by Eddie was ‘Two Tickets To Paradise’ with 4,500 sales on the day he died and 8,000 sales in the three days from 13 to 16 September.

The day Eddie Money died his songs were streamed 3.9 million times. There were 7 million audio and video streams from 13 to 16 September. Eddie Money songs have been streamed 222 million times since 2014.
