Eddie Van Halen is going hip-hop. Van Halen is working on new music for LL Cool J.

Eddie posted the pic of LL Cool J and himself behind the desk with the simple message ‘Authentic 4.30.13’. The next LL Cool J album ‘Authentic’ is scheduled for April 30, 2013.

‘Authentic’ will also feature appearances from Joe, Monica, Jennifer Lopez, Kendrick Lamar, Tom Morello, Chuck D, Travis Barker and Z-Trip.

LL Cool J is in Austin, Texas this week to perform on Doritos #Boldstage on Thursday night.
