Eddie Vedder will hang back in Australia following Pearl Jam’s Big Day Out dates for his own solo tour.
Vedder will perform two shows each in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in February, 2014.
Eddie toured Australia once before in support of his 2011 solo album ‘Ukulele Songs’. He also released his music on the ‘Into The Wild’ soundtrack from 2007.
Vedder has released 10 studio albums with his band Pearl Jam including the band’s debut ‘Ten’ from 1991. ‘Ten’ is one of the biggest selling albums of all-time in the USA with 13 million sales in America alone earning the album the rare Diamond Award for sales over 10 million.
Pearl Jam will tour Australia and New Zealand in January headlining the Big Day Out which kicks off in Auckland on January 17, 2014.

Eddie Vedder has a passion for Australian music citing Victoria’s Cosmic Psychos as one of his biggest influences. He also featured in the recent documentary about the band ‘Blokes You Can Trust’.
