Rapper producer El-P gets TV On The Radio’s Jaleel Bunton in for a video for ‘Stay Down’.
The man behind one of the best albums of the year Cancer 4 Cure, El-P, has picked out the second single following the ballsy ‘Full Retard’. It’s the seething ‘Stay Down’, with chilling trombone and a haunting vocal hook from Canadian singer Nick Diamonds (who has guested with Les Savy Fav and Man Man).
Now there’s a clip for the track, which doesn’t feature Nick Diamonds but does have TV On The Radio drummer/singer/guitarist/programmer Jaleel Bunton, and El-P’s favourite rascal puppet Mr Killums on drums.
Watch out for the aforementioned bloodthirsty babes at the end of the clip. Poor Mr Killums. And get the entire album – it’s mind-blowingly good.
