American country music singer Elizabeth Cook will release ‘Welder’, her first album in four years in January, just before her Australian tour.
‘Welder’ was produced by Don Was (The Rolling Stones) and features now Nashville based Bones Hillman, formely of Midnight Oil on bass.
Guests on the ‘Welder’ album include Bette Midler, Rodney Crowell and Dwight Yoakam.
Elizabeth was born in Florida and has over 200 Grand Ole Opry performances to her credit.
She will head to Australia in 2013 for the Tamworth Country Music Festival and also perform in Sydney, Newcastle and Melbourne.
