On Tuesday, October 15, 2013, the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) will present its 12th annual An Enduring Vision benefit at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
The Foundation welcomes back award-winning CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, who will host the event for a seventh consecutive year.
Founder Sir Elton John and Chairman David Furnish will present EJAF’s very first Founder’s Award to Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Secretary Clinton’s ground-breaking speech in Geneva declaring that ‘gay rights are human rights and human rights are gay rights’ and the bold plan for an AIDS-free generation she presented at the International AIDS Conference epitomize EJAF’s concept of ‘an enduring vision of a world without AIDS.’
They will also present EJAF’s Enduring Vision Awards to Sandra Lee, Ronald O. Perelman, and Howard Rose.
Sir Elton John and David Furnish serve as the honorary chairs for An Enduring Vision, joined by their Co-Chairs Bill and Tani Austin, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, Johnny and Edwina Barbis, Jennifer Bayer Michaels, Joseph W. Blount, John Demsey, Jennifer Kelly Dominiquini, Frank Giustra, Tim Hanlon and Anthony Klatt, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness, Diana Jenkins, Donna Karan, Robert K. Kraft, Leonard A.
