with The Roots as your House Band
The Roots as house band could explain the mystery around the reported Elvis album with The Roots which now looks Costello has possibly recorded a song with The Roots for the tribute album.
Elvis told Noise11 last week that he would not have a new studio album for years. Days later a report surfaced that he had recorded an album with The Roots.
He did however perform Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ at his Melbourne concert of Friday night.
The Tribute to Prince concert will take place at Carnegie Hall, New York City on March 7.
