Paddy Power expects Emeli Sande to dominate proceedings offering virtually unbackable odds of 1/6 and 1/10 to pick up Best Album and Best Female respectively.
Odds on Ben Howard, currently 2/7 in the betting, appears to have Best Male wrapped up, although a recent flurry of money for Calvin Harris has seen his odds cut into 5/2. At 9/2 X-Factor’s Olly Murs is still in with a shot, more than can be said for rank outsiders 14/1 Plan B and 25/1 Richard Hawley.
Fresh from conquering the world members of One Direction can be forgiven for expecting to land Best Group however Paddy Power has a hunch that the boys will get beaten by Mumford and Sons who lead the betting as 1/3 favourites.
Adele meanwhile is sure to be back in the bling and finds herself 1/5 not only to win best single but 1/3 to win a BRIT as well as an Oscar for Skyfall.
A Paddy Power spokesperson said: ‘Lock up your grandmothers the Brits are back. Emeli Sande looks a cert to steal the headlines, however the big shock could be for One Direction to get piped by Mumford and Sons for best group.’
