The hip-hop supergroup ‘ consisting of Royce da 5’9″, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Joe Budden ‘ are signed to the star’s label Shady Records and Interscope. The stars are currently promoting their latest release Welcome to: Our House, and Royce has revealed that Eminen encouraged the rappers to relax when they were in the recording studio.

“He told me and said, ‘I want y’all to go in there and do exactly what y’all did on the first album. I’m not gonna go in there and step on your creative integrity,'” Royce told RapFix Live. “What we did was we went in there, we rapped – we all got drunk, went to the studio and rapped. We handed him… about 40 and he went there and turned it into a masterpiece.”

Royce is thrilled with the hard work Eminem – real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III – put into mixing the album.

He believes the way the legendary rapper tweaked their material transformed the songs into something great.

“I love this album, and it’s because of Marshall. He went in there and he basically took the songs that he felt like we should be using; did segues, skits, mixed just about the whole album, he added instruments to the songs that he felt needed extra instruments,’ he added. “He put his foot into it. He did just as much work as we did.”
