Eminem, Neil Young and indie English pop group, The xx, are set to headline the Belgian festival Pukkelpop in August.
Nine Inch Nails, Slayer, The Prodigy, Franz Ferdinand and Bat For Lashes are amongst other acts that have been announced for the alternative open air festival, that will take place in the Belgian municipality of Hasselt, between 15-17 August this year.
Eminem will play on Thursday 15th, along with Nine Inch Nails, Fall Out Boy, Slayer and Deftones.
Baauer, the dance and electronica producer who has become more of a household name since his 2012 single ‘Harlem Shake’ was attached to a viral video sensation earlier this year, will also be on the bill, as will be Solange, the younger sister of Beyonce, who has also opted to perform under her first name only.
Neil Young and Crazy Horse will play on Friday, along with The Prodigy, Boys Noize, Skunk Anansie and Fun.
The xx, Franz Ferdinand and The Knife will close out the festival on Saturday. The diverse line-up for the last day also includes Alabama Shakes, Bat For Lashes and Swedish progressive metal band Opeth, who were recently in Australia.
Australian singer-songwriter Matt Corby is also amongst the line-up for the festival.
According to the festival’s website, tickets for Pukkelpop 2013 will be available from Wednesday 27th March, with a presale starting on Monday 25th.
