‘Release Me: The Best of Engelbert Humperdinck’ is the no. 5 album in New Zealand this week.
This new Engelbert Humperdinck compilation was released through Universal.
‘Release Me: The Best of Engelbert Humperdinck’ jumped from 19 to 5 in New Zealand this week placing the legendary singer ahead of fun, Ed Sheeran, Chris Brown, The Black Keys and Flo Rida.
Engelbert was in Australia last week to visit his family. His son Scott, daughter-in-law Jo and granddaughter Kiki live in Sydney. Scott is also his manager.
Last week, Engelbert hosted a $2500 charity dinner for the St Vincent’s Hospital at the home of businessman John Symonds. He also played one Australian show only at Jupiter’s Casino on this visit.
The music legend will also release his new album soon. The album was recorded in London with Martin Terefe (Train) and features songs from Dan Wilson and James Morrison.
