The title track from Dallas Frasca’s upcoming album is a 10-minute epic of Led Zeppelin proportions.
‘Love Army’ kicks off with a Nirvana ‘Come As You Are’ feel and then explodes into a extended Led Zep-like rock marathon akin to ‘No Quarter’ from Houses of the Holy.
The song ‘Love Army’ was written in an apartment in Pigalle, Paris. ‘Love Army’ is a story written by Dallas about Freya, a love goddess from Nordic mythology who, comes across a battlefield of men fighting out the quarrel on behalf of their respective kings.
“It’s a metaphor for everything that is happening on our planet right now. People are brainwashed into believing people that war is a good thing, when really someone else’s disagreement has nothing to do with them,” explains Dallas. The 10-minute-long song features an almighty breakdown, which recounts the scene when Freya gives all of the men on the battlefield orgasms and they realise what it is they should be fighting for… love. “I mean why is it so f*cking hard for people to be good to one another?” notes Dallas.
