Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and her husband actor Josh Duhamel have become first time parents.
38-year old Fergie and 40-year old Josh welcomes son Axl Jack Duhamel into the world in Los Angeles today. The boy was named Axl after Guns N Roses singer Axl Rose. Josh had earlier said that the couple wanted to “inject some wild energy” into the child’s name and told People magazine “my wife is a little rock and roll.”
Axl Duhamel was born in a Los Angeles hospital and weighed in at 7lbs 10oz. Fergie gave birth via a caesarean section operation.
Black Eyed Peas are expected to release their next album in 2014. Fergie’s solo album ‘The Duchess’ was released in 2006.
Josh was the star of the TV show ‘All My Children’ and also starred in ‘Vegas’. He also appeared in the first three Transformers movies. This year he starred in the movies ‘Movie 43’ and ‘Safe Haven’. His next movies are ‘You’re Not You’, ‘Scenic Route’ and ‘Strings’, all due in 2014.
