Fergie is pregnant with her first child.
The Black Eyed Peas singer, real name Stacy Ferguson, is expecting a baby with husband Josh Duhamel.
The 37-year-old star made the announcement via Twitter on Monday.
“Josh & Me & BABY makes three,” she wrote, adding the hashtag, ‘#MyLovelyBabyBump’.
She also shared childhood pictures of herself and of her husband.
Josh shared the message on his Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Fergie and Josh married in January 2009 after five years of dating.
Rumours have been circulating for weeks the couple is expecting.
Josh tried his best to diffuse the reports on the red carpet for the premiere of his new movie, Safe Haven, on February 5.
Asked by an E! News reporter if he was soon to be a dad, the actor gave a straight, ‘No’.
But the star did confess he was looking forward to the prospect of being a parent.
“You said it will be your greatest career achievement, so we’re waiting,” said E! News host Jason Kennedy.
“Greatest life achievement,” Josh corrected.
Fergie also attended the event but declined to confirm the rumours.
It’s unclear how far along Fergie is in her pregnancy but the singer has been wearing noticeably oversized clothes for several weeks.
She took a swing at the rumours last September during an appearance on America’s Rachael Ray Show.
‘[People ask if I’m pregnant] every time I fluctuate a few pounds. Like right now, I’m a couple pounds up,” she said, explaining, “Sometimes I go a couple pounds down and I wear the clothes that are more fitted, but people kind of look at me because they’re expecting [that] it’s that time.’
The singer added she was ‘hoping’ for children.
‘That will be coming up, but it’s not yet,’ she said.
