Rap star Fetty Wap is reportedly set to become a dad.
Fetty Wap’s on/off reality TV star girlfriend, Masika Kalysha, announced she is pregnant with his baby during a radio chat in Los Angeles on Friday morning (11Dec15).
The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star told Power 106, “I’ve been keeping this (a secret) for six months.”
Masika then revealed she and Fetty conceived the baby the night after they recorded his hit Andale together.
She also posted a photo of herself in her underwear and sporting a baby belly on Instagram, and added the caption: “These past 6 months have been crazy… But I’d do it all over again just to have you baby.
“My perfect sweet glory…You’re everything I’ve ever done right. My personal connection to the sun. I love you to an extreme that I’ve never achieved… Now I know my purpose in this life cuz God made you for me…”
However, it appears her announcement may have irked her baby’s alleged daddy – Fetty Wap took to Twitter as the pregnancy news broke and wrote: “B**ches posting pics now the world going crazy (sic), she need a come up I understand career lookin bad (sic)… Just sit back n watch lol (laugh out loud).”
It’s not clear from the tweets if the rapper is happy with the baby news or not.
Masika’s journey to motherhood will be covered on TV as part of her new show Pregnant in Pumps.
The baby news comes three months after the Trap Queen star broke his leg in three places when he collided with a car while riding his motorcycle in his native Paterson, New Jersey. Fetty suffered a setback in his recovery at the weekend (05-06Dec15) and returned to hospital.
“My knee went out on me yesterday was in the hospital all mornin,” the rapper wrote on Twitter.com. “didn’t really get any good news smh (shaking my head).”
