First up, pop rock giants Maroon 5 release their fourth album Overexposed.
Fiona Apple has her long-awaited, and extensively-titled The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do.
Following a diversion into online singles, The Smashing Pumpkins release their latest proper album Oceania. And after a diversion into concept album territory, Linkin Park deliver their return Living Things.
US stadium country star Kenny Chesney has Welcome To The Fishbowl and Canada’s country star Dean Brody has his new album Dirt.
UK pop star Cheryl Cole delivers A Million Lights and there’s a CD and DVD from Sade Bring Me Home: Live 2011.
There are new albums from UK indie act Reverend And The Makers with @reverend_makers and the debut from Melbourne soul-rockers King Cannons The Brightest Light.
After causing trouble in Rolling Stone recently, electro hero Deadmau5 delivers a new EP ‘The Veldt’.
Look out for tough tunes from melodic hardcore outfit A Ghost Inside on Get What You Give and French metallers Gojira on L’Enfant Sauvage.
And finally, British folkies Skinny Lister release their debut Forge And Flagon.
There are also a couple of soundtracks, for Moonrise Kingdom and Pixar’s Brave.
