Flaming Lips To Headline SXSW Auditorium Shores Friday Show

Flaming Lips will perform a free show for the people of Austin and SXSW at the Auditorium Shores stage on March 15.

The Auditorium Shores shows are part of SXSW Music but free to the public.

Flaming Lips will showcase the new album ‘The Terror’ at the show. It is their 13th studio album, due April 2 through Warner.

The album was produced by Dave Fridman with Flaming Lips at Tarbox Road Studios.

Also performing with the Flaming Lips are Jim James of My Morning Jacket and Divine Fits.

Jim has just released his debut solo album ‘Regions of Light and Sound of God’. Divine Fits debut album ‘A Thing Called Divine Fits’ was released last year.
