Film star Ryan Reynolds and Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively got hitched in South Carolina on the weekend, and the entertainment was Florence Welch, of Florence + The Machine.
People magazinereport that Reynolds and Lively were married in a private ceremony on Sunday night at the Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
It was 25-year-old Lively’s first marriage, but 35-year-old Reynolds’ second, following a two-year marriage to Scarlett Johansson which ended in 2010. They met during the filming of Green Lantern last year.
Welch is a good friend of Lively and reportedly sang three songs at the reception.
Florence and the Machine’s music has often appeared in Gossip Girl, the show using ‘Dog Days Are Over’ and then getting the group in to perform a version of ‘Cosmic Love’ in the episode ‘Panic Roommate’.
